Youth Skills Training Program Pilot Grant Funding Available

Letters of intent from partnerships interested in applying for YST@DLI grant funding are now being accepted.

The MPMA spearheaded the legislative effort in 2017 to get a bill passed to remove barriers to student participation in high school skilled training programs and expand local internship and apprenticeship programs.
- Youth Skills Training (YST) pilot program grant funding is available for up to five partnerships in amounts up to $100,000;
- The Letter of Intent form must be completed and submitted online by April 5, 2018 at 4:30 CST;
- The identified lead partner will be notified of receipt upon submission and notified of approval pending YST@DLI review; and
- Grant applications will open April 6, 2018 and will close May 4, 2018.
