MPMA has been offering Leadership Councils for a while now and they have been well recieved. We recently reached out to our manufacturers to get a level of interest for creating additional Leadership Councils. We had a great response! For this reason we have created two "Info Sessions" for you to learn more about Leadership Councils. We are looking at creating a human resource council, a mid-level management session and possibly more. We offering two different time slots to fit your busy schedule. 

Leadership Council Information Sessions
Friday, September 15, 2023 from 8:00 - 9:00 am
Monday, September 18, 2023 from 11:00 - noon

Please feel free to extend the invite to others within your organization.

In the meantime, here are some basic pieces of information:

  • Leadership Councils are tight-knit, confidential peer groups made of manufacturers only.
  • Current groups range from managers to executives/ownership (new groups may expand on that spectrum).
  • They meet monthly, some groups in-person at members’ facilities, and some virtual.
  • All members in the group engage, provide insights, ask for help, etc… but they are facilitated by Lori Moen of VisionOne High Performance Group. (MPMA member/partner to many of our manufacturers).  Lori does often provide feedback and guidance, but the groups are most beneficial because members help drive conversation.  I have worked with Lori Moen for several years, and she is awesome!
  • The cost of joining is under $2,300 per year.  Although this is still an investment, because it is a fraction of what you might pay with other professional peer groups, we consider the difference a member benefit.
  • All prospective members are vetted by myself and Lori, and must be invited into the group after a guest visit (with newly formed groups, this process is slightly different).
