About the speaker:
Ron Adams is a Program Specialist in placement for Vocational Rehabilitation Services under the
Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). He works in a variety of roles assisting
people with disabilities in finding employment, with a focus on job seekers that are Deaf or Hard of
Hearing.
Ron coordinates with businesses, community partners, placement coordinators and program specialists
to find opportunities for program participants. He has worked for government and non-profit agencies
in this capacity for 25 years. Ron has an MEd in Special Education; deaf and hard of hearing and a
Bachelor of Science in Communications and Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University. He
provides service to participants throughout the state of Minnesota.
