PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Every dollar invested in safety gets your company a $4 to $6 return. But this is often lost in industry jargon, so this program is designed to demystify this so your company can capture the benefits.

The business case for safety is the least understood yet immensely impactful to a company’s current and future performance. Safety can be an integral part of a company’s strategy. It strengthens a company’s culture, helps deliver higher performance, and sends a message that employees count in a competitive talent marketplace.

The presentation includes:

  • Why those investments will bring huge returns to your company.
  • How the CEO of ALCOA picked safety as the catalyst for transforming the business that surprised employees, union leaders, suppliers and Wall Street analysts.
  • The real costs of injuries in the workplace will shock you; how to leverage multiple sources to highlight the massive hidden costs.
  • What are the 20 injury-related elements that impact your company and which areas feel the biggest impact as a result.
  • Why time is NOT your friend when it comes to injuries. The impact on your business will come over years, not weeks.
  • Why the experience modification rate is so negatively impacted by injuries and what’s at stake if you do not address.
  • Why top performing companies reap huge rewards by making safety an integral part of their strategy and the positive halo effect it has on all key metrics for the company.
