Job description Job description – CNC Lathe Machinist Brenk Brothers Inc. is looking for an experienced machinist to setup and operate twin-turret, twin-spindle CNC lathes. Work Activities Setup and operate twin-turret, twin-spindle CNC lathes. Monitor machine operations and adjust if needed. Notify others of equipment repair or maintenance needs. Read and follow work instructions, processes, and drawings. Inspect products and record production data and document any non-conformity. Work Environment The environment is fully temperature-controlled. This job is in-person at our location in Fridley, MN. Qualifications 2 or more years of experience, or completion of related trade school program. Ability to set up and operate CNC lathes. Ability to read and understand work instructions, processes, drawings, setup sheets, and inspection plans. Working understanding of GD&T and other machining concepts. Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices. Experience working in a high precision (AS9100 or comparable) shop a plus. Physical Demands Employees doing this job frequently stand, walk, and sit. They occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Manual dexterity is important because you will need to be able to feel imperfections and manipulate material and parts. People working in this job frequently lift 10 to 50 pounds throughout the day. This job requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
