MRG Tool & Die is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and elevate our people first operation during an exciting period of growth and modernization. Role Overview
Reporting to the President, the HR Manager will oversee all facets of human resources—including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. This is a strategic and hands-on role, well-suited to someone who can balance big-picture HR planning with daily operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Attracting & Welcoming (30%)
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for shop floor, technical, and professional roles.
• Develop outreach programs into the marketplace for the future workforce of MRG.
• Build partnerships with local schools, training programs, and workforce agencies.
• Deliver a welcoming, consistent onboarding experience for every new hire.
Strategic & Operational HR (25%)
• Understand and enhance HR systems, policies, and procedures that align with MRG’s values and growth goals.
• Partner with leadership to define organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
• Lead annual performance review, compensation, and goal-setting processes.
Employee Engagement & Development (25%)
• Support leadership in building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate training programs, career development initiatives, and recognition efforts.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees, ensuring a fair and supportive workplace.
Compliance & Administration (20%)
• Oversee payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and reporting requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must Haves:
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and benefits administration
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility with both production and leadership teams
• Hands-on experience with recruiting, performance management, and HR systems
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification
• Experience supporting 50–100 employee organizations
• Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and safety compliance standards

Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (depending on experience)
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and holiday pay
• Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, full-time
