Job Description:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Meet with clients, manage projects, and generate proposals Design mechanical assemblies, parts, and systems for customer projects Evaluate designs using simulation software such as FEA and CFD Create parts and assemblies using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) Create mechanical drawings, Bill of Materials information, and other documentation needed for project completion Evaluate prototypes and designs for possible refinement through assembly and testing Facilitate customer project reviews Directly contribute to the solutions provided to customers including ideation, design, and specifications Sourcing components and engineering research Mentor staff engineers
