Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Paid Time Off 401k Job Purpose: The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials, and processes meet company quality standards and industry regulations. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, testing materials, identifying defects, and working with production teams to resolve quality issues. The Quality Inspector plays a key role in minimizing defects, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Position Responsibilities: Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and vision systems. Generate and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation. Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T symbols and tolerances. Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues. Assist in training junior inspectors on proper inspection techniques. Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection equipment. Required Skills: 4+ years of experience in quality inspection or related field. Proficiency in using micrometers, indicators, calipers, and vision systems. Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot quality issues. Other: High School Graduate / GED Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for detailed inspections Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Good communication skills both verbal and written
