Job Description:

Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Paid Time Off 401k Job Purpose: The Quality Inspector ensures that products, materials, and processes meet company quality standards and industry regulations. This role is responsible for conducting inspections, testing materials, identifying defects, and working with production teams to resolve quality issues. The Quality Inspector plays a key role in minimizing defects, improving efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Position Responsibilities: Perform complex inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and vision systems. Lead final and in-process inspections, ensuring all parts meet customer requirements. Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports. Train and mentor beginner and intermediate inspectors. Work with engineering and production teams to improve quality processes. Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or related field. Expert-level proficiency in GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools. Experience with Smartscope Flash 200 and Keyence IM vision systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead quality initiatives. Experience with internal audits and quality system maintenance is a plus. Other: High School Graduate / GED Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks Good vision (with or without corrective lenses) for detailed inspections Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Good communication skills both verbal and written
