Job Description:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Project & Program Management Oversee the execution of engineering and manufacturing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives. Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring continuous alignment with scope, budget, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with government contract requirements, including design, engineering, documentation, quality, manufacturing and programmatic deliverables. Develop systems, policies and procedures to streamline and clarify the project management process throughout the organization. Seek out and advocate for programs in alignment with the company’s growing expertise. Advise business development team and take an active role in developing proposals for new programs. ​ Financial Oversight & Compliance Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation. Prepare financial reports, analyze indirect labor costs, and ensure compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and other government regulations. Support cost accounting and reporting for both government and non-government engineering projects. Assist in pricing strategies, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize profitability and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with government contract requirements, including cost structures, billing, and financial audits. ​ Team Leadership & Collaboration Provide oversight and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring project goals and deliverables align with business objectives. Work closely with program managers, finance teams, and executives to drive operational and financial efficiency. Oversee vendor and subcontractor selection and contract negotiation for project needs. Ensure proper allocation of resources and staffing for engineering and manufacturing projects. ​ Performance Analysis & Process Improvement Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and financial performance. Recommend process improvements to enhance project execution, cost efficiency, and compliance. Implement best practices in project finance, contract administration, and risk management.
