Job Description:

Clow Stamping Company is seeking experienced Senior Machinists to perform precision CNC machining and grinding operations. This role involves setting up and operating CNC machines, inspecting parts for quality, running production independently, and providing support for the Lead Machinist as needed. What You Will Do Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, vertical mills, tapping centers, and grinders, to produce precision parts Ensure adherence to production quotas and quality standards Inspect parts and maintain detailed documentation of production progress Assist other Machinists as needed with production and quality tasks Support the Lead Machinist by filling in during their absence, assigning tasks, and providing on-the-job training to develop team skills Make offsets, adjust tooling, and replace machine tools as necessary to maintain optimal performance and efficiency Required Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machines and performing precision machining and grinding Ability to read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and technical drawings Proficiency with measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality standards Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and operating CNC equipment Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and basic computer skills for CNC programming and data input Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications CNC Technology A.A.S. or other formal machining training 1–2 years of prior machining experience, with exposure to CNC setup and programming Physical & Work Environment Indoor, climate-controlled production floor Extended periods of sitting or standing;lifting up to 50 lbs may be required Work requires sustained attention to detail and problem-solving Moderate safety risk typical of a machining environment
