Job Description:

Clow Stamping Company is seeking an Experienced Laser Operator to support advanced laser operations on our production floor. This role is responsible for independently operating laser equipment, programming and optimizing jobs, maintaining part quality, and supporting other operators through mentoring and quality verification. This position is intended for operators who can work with minimal supervision, make real-time process adjustments, and take ownership of production flow and quality outcomes. What You Will Do Operate laser cutting equipment to produce parts that meet job specifications and quality requirements Retrieve and stage raw materials using forklifts and cranes Load, modify, and optimize laser programs to support accuracy and efficiency Monitor cutting processes and adjust settings to meet customer requirements Inspect finished parts, detab as needed, and organize parts per work instructions Program new laser jobs using CAD and PEP software Troubleshoot part quality and process-related issues Perform secondary inspections and double-checks on parts produced by other Laser Operators Prioritize work across multiple lasers and manage competing production demands Mentor and support Laser Operators by sharing best practices Required Qualifications Experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment Ability to independently adjust machine settings and CNC programs Experience handling materials using forklifts and cranes (or willingness to obtain certification) Strong math skills and ability to read prints, measurements, and tolerances Ability to manage multiple jobs with minimal supervision Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience operating laser cutting equipment in a manufacturing environment Ability to independently adjust machine settings and CNC programs Experience handling materials using forklifts and cranes, or willingness to obtain certification Strong math skills and ability to read prints, measurements, and tolerances Ability to manage multiple jobs with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience programming laser jobs using CAD and PEP Background mentoring or supporting other machine operators Experience troubleshooting quality issues in a production environment Experience in metal stamping, fabrication, or related manufacturing environments Physical & Work Environment Indoor, climate-controlled production environment Extended periods of standing Regular lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs Work requires sustained attention to detail and problem-solving
