Job Description:

A highly-rated landscaping company is looking for a landscape designer to join its team. Our client has a casual yet go-getter work ethic. Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday Benefits of the landscape designer: Exceptional Health Insurance Dental insurance Vision Simple IRA - Company will match up to 3% Above Industry Pay Paid time off Healthcare spending or reimbursement accounts such as HSAs or FSAs Retirement benefits or accounts Casual atmosphere Responsibilities of the landscape designer: Act as a landscape designer for commercial and residential clients Meet with customers/prospects to understand their goals and objectives relative to their landscaping project Create landscape designs (digital image, sketch, full plans, etc.) that incorporate these goals Guide customers through the entire design process Working with the local nurseries to identify plant cost and availability Identifying the proper materials, machinery, and skills necessary to complete a project Communicating with the client and internal team members throughout the project to ensure expectations are exceeded Ensuring all final details of the job are complete (including walk-through) so the customer will provide final payment Assist in training crews about plant identification and pruning Work with property managers to find areas in need of improvement for enhancement opportunities Proactively create improvement and master plans for commercial properties so they can be installed over a multi-year timeframe Assist crews with the implementation of the projects Qualifications of the landscape designer: 1-2 years of experience minimum in related field Valid driver's license Additional Information: To learn more about this landscape designer position, call Charlie at 763-220-7052.
