Many of our customers are Fortune 500 global OEMs. We pride ourselves on high-quality products, dedicated customer service, and a culture grounded in safety, teamwork, and growth for every employee. The Opportunity This on-site role strengthens daily execution across Manufacturing Operations by improving job readiness, priority clarity, system accuracy, and follow-through. The Operations Support Lead ensures work is prepared correctly, information flows smoothly between teams, and issues are identified early and resolved quickly. By improving execution discipline and visibility at the floor level, this role increases operational capacity, reduces friction and rework, and enables Operations leadership to focus on higher-value decision-making. It serves as a key connector between planning, execution, and follow-up across manufacturing, supply chain, and support functions. This role is well-suited for someone with a few years of manufacturing experience who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing their impact within operations over time. Key Responsibilities 1) Job Readiness & Execution Support • Prepare complete and accurate job packets (travelers, prints, routings, tooling notes, special instructions). • Verify and stage work so jobs are truly ready when scheduled. • Identify and flag missing or incorrect information early to prevent downstream disruption. 2) Scheduling Support & Daily Priority Coordination • Support Operations leadership by translating the daily schedule into clear, executable priorities. • Confirm readiness for near-term jobs and surface constraints early. • Capture issues, route them to the appropriate owner, and follow through to resolution. 3) ERP (Syteline) Data Accuracy & System Hygiene • Enter and maintain timely, accurate production and operations data in the ERP system. • Ensure job status and system data reflect what is actually happening on the floor. • Support consistency and discipline in how systems are used across functions. 4) Cross-Functional Follow-Through • Track and close action items from daily operations activity. • Improve handoffs between planning, operations, supply chain, and support teams. • Help keep priorities visible and information flowing across functions. 5) Data Collection & Continuous Improvement Support • Collect floor-level data related to job status, bottlenecks, and delays. • Maintain simple trackers and reports using basic Excel or Sheets tools. • Identify recurring issues and patterns that inform continuous improvement discussions. What Success Looks Like • Jobs are ready when scheduled, with fewer last-minute surprises. • Clear priorities and smoother handoffs across teams. • More accurate, reliable operational data. • Faster issue resolution and less rework. • Increased leadership capacity through reduced tactical burden. Why This Role Matters As the organization grows and systems evolve, the volume and complexity of daily operational coordination has increased. This role strengthens execution at the point where planning, systems, and the shop floor meet — improving efficiency, reliability, and communication across the operation. It creates leverage: improving throughput and consistency today, while building a strong foundation for future operational growth. Required Skills & Capabilities Must-Have • Strong attention to detail and follow-through • Manufacturing or job shop experience. • Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities • Organized, reliable, and execution-focused • Tech-confident;able to learn new systems quickly • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365: o Outlook o Excel (filters, tables, basic formulas) o Teams / SharePoint • Clear communicator who flags issues early and asks questions proactively • Continuous improvement mindset (formal experience not required) Preferred / Nice-to-Have • ERP exposure (Syteline a plus, not required). • Familiarity with job packets, travelers, routings, and scheduling flow.
