Twin City Staffing is hiring a Metal Grinder for a manufacturing facility in Blaine! This is a stable role in a brand-new, climate-controlled shop. If you have experience with heavy grinding and are looking for a company that offers a clear path to move into welding, assembly, or forming, apply today. Location: Blaine, MN Wage: $18.00 – $20.00/hr. Shift Options: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon – Thu) 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon – Thu) 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon – Fri) Benefits of the Metal Grinder: Permanent hire-on after 60 days Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Disability and critical illness insurance 401(k) with employer match Union position with scheduled raises Climate-controlled facility with long-term customers Seniority-based promotions to welding or assembly Consistent overtime opportunities Duties of the Metal Grinder: Operate grinders to finish and deburr large metal parts Use rivet guns, hand tools, and power tools Read blueprints, tolerances, and simple dimensions Use measuring instruments for quality checks Handle aerospace and sheet metal components Maintain high concentration on repetitive tasks Requirements: Experience in metal grinding (larger parts) Ability to read blueprints and tolerances Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination for repetitive tasks Ability to stand or sit for the duration of the shift ITAR Compliant Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings Contact Information: Take the next step in your manufacturing career!
