Over the years it has expanded to include over 150 employees working in a 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Job description Responsibilities: • Load barrels with media and parts and secure lid • Load/unload barrels to/from harperizer with assistance of a hoist • Operate harperizer and/or tumbler • Empty barrels and separate parts from media • Reload barrels with clean media and fresh parts • Remove burrs and perform other finishing operations using hand tools, microscopes, endoscopes, and/or tumblers • Clean parts using automated cleaning machine and/or other cleaning equipment and processes • Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions • Accurately complete paperwork and documentation Qualifications • Good attention to detail. • Basic math and computer skills. • Basic communication skills. Physical Demands Employees doing this job frequently stand, walk, and sit. They occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Manual dexterity is important because you will need to be able to handle tools and parts safely. People working in this job frequently lift/manipulate 20 to 40 pounds throughout the day, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. This job requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Schedule and Compensation. This job is part of our Hearing Conservation program;participants are required to wear hearing protection and receive annual audiograms.
