Over the years it has expanded to include over 150 employees working in a 100,000 sq. ft. facility. Job description • Perform inspections that ensure that products are meeting company standards, customer specifications, and any other regulatory standards. • Use various types of equipment and tools (CMMs, micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and more). • Ensure documentation is complete and accurate. • Communicate quality issues to management and/or machinists. • Accept or reject first piece / in process parts. Qualifications • Good problem-solving skills. • Good math and computer skills. • Good attention to detail. • Basic communication skills. At this time we are prioritizing candidates with previous Inspection or Quality experience. If you have experience with Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software, you are encouraged to apply! Physical Demands Employees doing this job frequently stand, walk, and sit. They occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. Manual dexterity is important because you will need to be able to handle tools and parts safely. People working in this job frequently lift 5 to 10 pounds throughout the day, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. This job requires close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
