Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a shop that prides itself on quality and safety! We are seeking a versatile shear operator / maintenance tech to handle metal preparation and equipment upkeep. Location: Minneapolis, MN Wage: $19.00 – $23.00/hr. (DOE) Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday (3-day weekends!) Benefits of the shear operator / maintenance tech: Health, dental, and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) Consistent 4-day work week Room for career advancement Duties of the shear operator / maintenance tech: Setup and operate metal shearing equipment to exact specs Read job orders and cut lists for production accuracy Perform routine machine maintenance, including oiling and cleaning Log production data and material usage into computer systems Inspect finished cuts to ensure quality standards Assist with general building and grounds maintenance Support other shop departments as needed Requirements of the shear operator / maintenance tech: Strong mechanical aptitude or general maintenance experience Experience in metal fabrication is a plus (training provided for the right candidate) Proficiency with basic computer data entry Ability to stand for the shift and maneuver heavy sheet metal Ability to follow technical written and verbal instructions Contact Information: Apply today to start your new career!
