Twin City Staffing is hiring a spot welder to join a booming manufacturing company in Brooklyn Center! If you’re mechanically inclined, experienced in setup and operation, and want room to grow, this is the job for you! Location: Brooklyn Center, MN Wage: $24.00 - $32.00 Hourly Hours: 6:00 am- 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday 4-day weekend!! Benefits of the spot welder: Health, dental, vision, life, disability, critical illness, and non-work accident insurance (available the first of the month following your start date) 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement Company uniforms and PPE safety glasses allowance Climate-controlled, air-conditioned, and heated shop with company parties Duties of the spot welder: Set up spot welders for new parts, applications, and determine appropriate welding parameters based on material type and thickness Select proper electrodes for each job and adjust weld current, squeeze time, weld time, and other weld settings Troubleshoot weld quality issues and make necessary parameter adjustments Read blueprints, perform shop math, and inspect parts for quality and accuracy Requirements of the spot welder: Previous experience setting up resistance spot welding equipment Expertise in electrode selection and weld parameter development Ability to determine and establish weld settings for new parts Mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Additional information: Apply today!
