Put your precision machining skills to work as a tool and die maker in Plymouth, MN! Twin City Staffing is hiring an experienced tool and die maker for a union, direct-hire opportunity. In this role, you will build complex forming and progressive dies, perform precise layout work, and assist with press setups to ensure zero-defect production. If you are seeking $30.00/hr., 1st shift hours with Saturday overtime, and full union benefits, apply today! Location: Plymouth, MN Wage: $30.00/hr. Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday (Overtime available on Saturdays) Benefits of the tool and die maker: Direct-hire placement in a unionized facility Comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision insurance options 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Retirement plan options and stable 1st shift schedule Duties of the tool and die maker: Build simple to complex forming, semi-permanent, and progressive dies using precision layout work and jig boring Perform or assist machine operators with complex press setups to verify part quality and specifications Inspect finished die tooling to ensure tight tolerances and optimal stroke performance on production equipment Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace while adhering strictly to all company safety guidelines Requirements of the tool and die maker: Minimum 5+ years of experience constructing stage tooling in a metal fabrication setting Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining progressive dies Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
