Twin City Staffing is hiring a shipping and receiving specialist to operate sit-down forklifts, manage ERP transactions, and coordinate freight. Location: Minneapolis, MN Wage: $23.28/hr. Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday Benefits of the shipping and receiving specialist: Union position offering long-term stability and clear advancement paths Comprehensive Health and Dental insurance coverage 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays Wellness benefits program Consistent daytime schedule with weekends off Duties of the shipping and receiving specialist: Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transfer materials throughout the warehouse Prepare, stage, and process daily incoming and outgoing shipments Verify incoming freight against purchase orders and inspect shipments for damage or shortages Enter receipts, issue shipments, and update inventory records accurately within ERP systems Generate bills of lading (BOLs), coordinate dock schedules, and communicate with freight vendors Requirements of the shipping and receiving specialist: Proven sit-down forklift experience and background in truck loading/unloading Hands-on experience with shipping/receiving processes, BOL generation, and documentation verification Prior experience utilizing ERP systems for inventory and logistics tracking Additional information: Take the next step in your logistics career!
